About photography by Jan Stittleburg

Photographing professionally since the late 1980's, and still learning new tricks and ways to view life through the lens. Residential architectural photography is my niche locally, along with a long history of photographing interesting products for small businesses. This could be anything from unique fine jewelry to large machine tools to fashion clothing for dogs.

Architectural photography has always been a passion, seeing the different forms a builder can take in creating a room, the style a designer brings to the table, the way color influences the mood. My challenge is to present the room the way the designer/architect saw it in his mind's eye.

I enjoy getting close into my nature subjects, seeing the inner details of a flower or a leaf. Seeing a bug in my house makes me scream, but outside, with a camera between us, I can stay there while it eats my flowers, kills my plants, then flies off to another meal in another garden.

If you are interested in using one or more of my photos, please contact me directly. In order to keep costs low, and as a personal rejection of the banking industry which has messed up our economy and is charging small businesses to pay for their mistakes, I have decided not to use credit card services at this time.
